Keratin Treaments!!

We are so excited about the new Keratin Treatments!

How would you like to enjoy 90% less frizz, stronger hair, less drying time, and relaxed curl? With our semi permanent Keratin treatment you can have it all! I did my sisters hair 3 weeks ago and she LOVES it!! Her hair is naturally curly, with a lot of flyaways and frizz. She uses all professional products, and flat irons , but it still would "poof" up by the end of the day, not anymore! Below are her before & after pictures. This service is fast, (only 1 hour or less start to finish including a haircut!), non damaging, and affordable! We will start booking for this Thursday, July 15! The cost will be $50, and it lasts 4-6 weeks according to the manufacture (although it could last longer, and with each treatment it works better :)


The 2nd treatment Keratin Glazing is from Pravana. This is a fast easy add on service! It provides an outwardly healthy shine and sleek look, but it actually resurfaces the hair by coupling pure keratin protein with special silicones providing long lasting shine, smoothness and protection. Add to any service for only $15! This is great for us curly girls who want the smoothing treatment with out losing our curl!

That's a great question! If you have an 8inch + ponytail, you can donate your hair to Children with Hairloss in Rockwood! http://www.childrenwithhairloss.us/home They provide wigs for kids with any type of medical related hairloss. They also do wigs for person's going through chemotherapy, and they look fabulous!

Everyone else . . . we sweep it up into our fancy vacuum, pack it up, and ship it out to Matter of Trust. They make hair mats to clean up oil spills! This Sat starting at 10:00am (over by 4:00) we will start posting clues to where you will find different "treasures" at local businesses downriver! You can win gift cards $25 - $75, prize baskets, and more! We hope that you will join us, it should be lots of fun to see who can figure out our clues, we are really excited!!

After you figure out the clue, go to the business to pick up your prize. There will be at least 3 prizes at each location. After you pick it up call to let the salon know, and once they are all gone we will post it and move on to the next! We are asking that only one prize per household, thank you!

Super excited about Pravana's newest product FRESH! It is a volumizing dry shampoo that smells AMAZING!!! It has powerful anti-bacterial ingredients that attack and eliminate odor causing germs and natural absorbents trap oils and restore and enhance volume. One of the best perks for working for the company is getting products before they are available, but soon we will be able to have it on our shelves, we'll let you know as soon as we get it in!

A quick FYI

DTE let us know, today, that on Tues (April 13th) they need to shut the power off at the salon from 10 - 10:30am to fix some of thier equiptment. No power means no computer, so if you call during those times we will not be able to make any appointments. We apologize for the inconvience.

Sarah has added Sat. April 10th 11:00 - 3:00 to get in a few more colors for the Color Event! Call for your appointment today! I will add more hours as we figure out our childcare situation :) Andrew is almost a month old now, it's crazy how fast a month goes by! I'd love to stay home with the boys forever, but I do miss the "adult interaction"!

New Baby!

Sarah & Rob welcomed Andrew Philip into their family on March 1st! He measures in at 8lbs 9oz, 21 inches long. Mom & baby are doing great! The boys are enjoying having a new little brother, especially Robbie, (mommy's big helper!).

Sarah doesn't have a date yet for coming back to work, but we'll let you know as soon as it's scheduled :)
